"I spent a long time looking for the perfect hotel for my winter honeymoon. With the Onich Hotel, that is exactly what I found! The hotel was a welcome sight when we arrived late on the first night, the festive decorations put a smile on my face after a horrible 8 hour journey. It looked even more beautiful when we woke the next morning, looking over the Loch at the Scottish landscape. We had our Westie with us and he loved his stay too, especially with all the fuss the staff gave him. He was allowed into the Bar with us when we ate our evenings meals, which were great value, tasty and came with fantastic service (The chocolate orange sponge was amazing, I had one every night) All the staff were really friendly and helpful through out our stay, giving us advice when we asked and taking the time to give us a personal service. I would like to say that we had such amazing service because it was our honeymoon, but seeing how they were with all the guests it is clear to see that they simply have high standards. The only down side to the stay was that the weather disrupted the hotel's deliveries for their restaurant, so we couldn't experience the full range of their culinary skills. But they exceeded my expectations by making a haggis dish especially for my partner as it wasn't on the Bar Menu but was a condition of our wedding vows.
I am in the process of booking my next stay with them, I hope to spend many happy holidays with them through out the years of my marriage."
