Glentower Lower Observatory is located just 5 minutes walk from the town center of Fort William on the A82 road to the south on the eastern shore of Loch Linnhe just 10 minutes walk from the rail & bus station. If you are arriving by car we have private designated parking to the rear of the building.
By Car…
Travelling on the A82 Inverness road from the south Glentower Lower Observatory is located on the right 500 metres from the West End car park and roundabout. From the north again on the A82 approaching Fort William take all signs for Crianlarich and Glasgow by-passing the town centre we are situated 500 metres on the left after the roundabout at the West End car park.
