Dan and Jane White would like to offer you a warm welcome to their recently completed Mingulay House in the village of Duror.
Situated close to Glencoe, often considered one of the most spectacular and beautiful places in Scotland, we provide bed and breakfast surrounded by splendid scenery of mountains and forests with views of the magnificent munro Beinn a’ Bheithir.
The new Oban to Fort William cycle path passes nearby so we can offer tired legs the perfect place to rest, refresh and revive.
Mingulay House offers accommodation with an abundance of those most naturally relaxing elements – bright, warming sunlight and gently invigorating, fresh mountain air with the sound of natural mountain springs.
Mingulay house has three double bedrooms; Oak, Elm and Rowan, all of which have their own en-suite bathrooms. Spacious and comfortable, the rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Oak is on the ground floor, both Elm and Rowan are upstairs on either side of the guest snug area.
Oak - This is our downstairs ‘standard’ double, it has an en suite with shower. This room could take a camp bed for one child or small adult.
Elm – This is our upstairs ‘superior’ double,
this room has lovely views of the
mountains and forest. This has an en suite
with powerful shower.
Rowan – This is our ‘deluxe’ kingsize suite, this is a large room with its own sitting area. It has lovely views over the garden and onto the munro – Beinn a’Bheithir. This room can be converted into a family room that can take 2 children and a cot. This room has an en suite with bath and shower.
Why not sit and enjoy the upstairs guest snug area. You are welcome to make use of the maps, books, games and DVDs that can be found in the snug’s bookcase. The views from every window of the house are breathtaking and the feeling of peace and comfort should enhance your stay by encouraging you to rest and relax.
