Warm Highland Hospitality in a Historic Lochside Setting, near Glencoe & Fort William
Family owned and run, The Loch Leven Hotel, at the foot of mighty Glencoe, is a historic ferry Inn dating back to the time of Bonnie Prince Charlie. With its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful loch-side setting and dramatic views over our gardens to the mountains, this characterful hotel is the perfect base for short breaks in the Highlands of Scotland or for longer holidays exploring the marvels of Scotland's West Coast.
Over the centuries the hotel has offered weary travellers and locals alike a cosy spot for refreshment with home cooked meals and a well stocked bar. Today, we offer the finest local seasonal produce on our thoughtfully prepared menus – everything is cooked in the hotel from scratch and we regularly have fresh local seafood, meats and game as dishes for you to savour. Our outdoor sundeck also offers the perfect place to enjoy the views with a lunch-time snack or pre-dinner aperitif.
Our 12 comfortable en-suite bedrooms have all recently been refurbished to offer a cosy place to relax and unwind and many of our rooms have loch views. We also have a bedroom on the ground floor suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Being located in "The Outdoor Capital of the UK", our guests can also enjoy a wide variety of things to see and do from walking and climbing to Watersports and Skiing. We're also just five minutes from one of the prettiest golf course we've ever seen. There's plenty going on locally too and the Loch Leven Hotel regularly offers live music for residents and locals to enjoy.
The Loch Leven Hotel really is a wonderful place to get together with friends, relax and enjoy yourself!
