The MacDonald Hotel
The MacDonald Hotel is situated at the foot of the Mamore Mountains, at the head of Loch Leven, providing a stunningly beautiful setting, which was selected to open the latest Rob Roy movie. Loch Leven and the River Leven form the glen between its more famous neighbours Glen Coe and Ben Nevis. The MacDonald Hotel is on the northwestern edge of the village of Kinlochleven, where the West Highland Way begins its climb towards Fort William.

The hotel is a great base no matter what your budget. It has 10 en-suite bedrooms, 9 all-season 4-bunk cabins, and a campsite for up to 11 two-man tents; and has a bar with Sky Sports competing with the view down the loch, a restaurant and a lounge bar. All guests have access to the drying room, laundry room and potwash.

The MacDonald Hotel Restaurant is the perfect place for that special meal. We have a wide choice of Highland dishes, as well has a range of bar favourites and daily blackboard specials.

All of our dishes are prepared from fresh local produce and are presented to a high standard.

We also have a wide choice of wine and other drinks with which to complement your meal.
