Marino Lodge is a large self-catering holiday house, offering delightful accommodation on the west coast of Scotland. On an elevated position on Roshven Hill, near the village of Lochailort in the Lochaber area of the Highlands. It has fantastic panoramic views over Loch Ailort and sea views out towards the islands of Rhum and Eigg, and provides a unique setting in one of the most scenic parts of Scotland.

Sleeping up to 10, it offers spacious accommodation for families or groups of friends who want to be able to relax in comfort. The well furnished lodge has 5 double bedrooms (2 ensuite) plus bathroom and shower, modern well-equipped kitchen, dining area, two lounges, utility and ample parking. There is a spacious living room with open fire and the sunroom captures the panoramic views of the Inner Isles whilst providing an excellent play area for children during the day.

Marino is a modern lodge with traditional Highland features combined with comfortable accommodation. Marino Lodge fits into neither category of castles nor self-catering cottages, but offers the unique ambience of a large house on a centuries-old historic estate which dates back to the Jacobite rising and before that to the Clanranalds.

Set in its own 4,500 acre estate, where you are free to walk, and surrounded by the beautiful scenic area of the Scottish West Highlands, the lodge offers some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery, with sea views out to the Inner Isles. It is situated just off “The Road to the Isles”, the A830 from the Inverness-shire town of Fort William to the port of Mallaig. Modern, snug and warm and is the perfect holiday lodge for guests who hanker after room to roam and is a perfect base for discovering the real Highlands.

There is lots to do in the area, with numerous sandy beaches and secret coves to explore in the immediate vicinity but also plenty to do a little further afield. Golf, walking, cycling, clay pigeon shooting, stalking and fishing can all be enjoyed nearby. With Marino Lodge as a touring base Loch Ness, The Isle of Skye, Ardnamurchan and Oban are all a comfortable day out. Also nearby is the West Highland Line, which is now more famed for the Hogwarts Express and the famous Glenfinnan viaduct from the Harry Potter films is less than 15 miles away.
